Slough Tuition Centre is running Summer Booster sessions before the academic year 2014-15. Our main aim is to provide grounding in the central topics. It is an opportunity to overcome weaknesses before the start of term under the supportive guidance of our teachers. The Summer Booster helps students gain a competitive edge so they return to school assured of their abilities and equipped to gain a more sophisticated understanding of their subject matter. The Summer Booster differs from our Intensive Revision courses in that more time is devoted to explaining key concepts. The fundamental understanding this confers allows students to tackle exams more competently.
The Summer Booster course is targeted at:
Year 11 students who are preparing to start the first year of A-level (AS) in September.
Year 10 students who are preparing to start the final year of GCSE (Year 11) in September.
Year 9 students who are preparing to start the first year of GCSE (Year 10) in September no longer the case I believe GCSEs now start in Year 9.
KS3 (Year 8) students who are preparing to start the final year KS3 (Year 9) in September. (This course can also benefit Year 7 students who are going into Year 8 in September.)
KS2 students to get a boost for their SATs.
Due to forthcoming GCSE, KS1 and KS2 SATS Exam in May 2014 we have decided to run two extra sessions during Easter break. Timing for both Thursdays (10th and 17th April) will be 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
