Slough Tuition Centre

Chalvey & Manor Park Slough

As we approach the end of another term I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the support you have given both to your child and to the centre.
We have begun many new proud traditions this year, including introducing a new tracking system for our KS2 and GCSE students, running more sessions during weekdays, running extra sessions for our 11 plus students and starting coaching for citizenship courses (English and Life in UK).
In addition, I would like to remind parents and carers that this term ends on Sunday, 17 December 2017 and centre will reopen on Saturday 6th January 2018.
I hope that learning will continue throughout the holiday and that you will encourage your child to complete homework. This will help your child to get off to the best possible start in January.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year break.
Slough Tuition Centre is extremely proud to announce that once again we achieved outstanding GCSE & SATS results. This reflects a tremendous amount of hard work and commitment from students and staff. Slough Tuition Centre would like to congratulate students and staff and also parents for their encouragement and continued support.
We are very pleased and proud to announce that we have achieved an outstanding report from Ofsted after their inspection on 4th July 2017.
Inspector stated in her report that;
''I inspected your childcare provision on 4 July 2017.
At the time of the visit I confirmed that you were complying with all of the requirements for registration on the Childcare Register.''

This is another acknowledgement of our hard work and dedication.
Well done to pupils, parents and staff.
New GCSE Maths and English courses started in September 2015, and other subjects (including GCSE Science) will be following suit in 2016.
The new courses are more challenging than ever, with all the exams set at the end of Year 11. There's even a new '9-1' grading system, where Grade 9 will be reserved for the very top tier of students.
At Slough Tuition, for each subject, the old and new courses will run in parallel for one year — in the first year, Year 10s will be studying the new courses while Year 11s finish the 'old' courses. In this way at Slough Tuition we are teaching both new and old specification.
